Rememberance-Veteran's Day thoughts

Other than goofing around, I have to remember those who served and thank them.

Soldiers go where they are ordered, whether they agree with those orders or not.

I have said before that supporting the troops means that you don't send them somewhere without the proper resources to accomplish their mission.

If you can't support the cause, then you shouldn't have sent the soldiers in to fight for it. Popular support is the most important resource for the soldier.

It means respecting the soldiers and allowing them to serve: no matter what their political persuasion, religious affiliation, ethnicity, or sexual preference.

It means showing respect for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country: no matter what their political persuasion, religious affiliation, ethnicity, or sexual preference.

It means taking care of the soldiers who have come back broken, physically or mentally. Not letting them be homeless.

If you live in the States, sign the petition S. 1963, “The Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act of 2009.”

Wherever you are, take some time to remember those who served your country.
