Rattlesnake v. Mongoose

Rattlesnakes are actually quite docile and shy when left undisturbed and will only strike in self defense when harassed or startled.

On the other hand, the mongoose hunts and kills snakes: especially poisonous ones.

Killing another cliche

You know what I'm talking about.

The cute little critter is a mongoose, which feeds on snakes. In particular, poisonous ones. Googling "Mongose and Cobra" will net you loads of pictures of these buggers killing king cobras. The clever mongoose kills the snake all the time.

Killing rattlesnakes would be a piece of cake.
