Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC)

OK, this sounded a bit fringy to me. Given my background I decided to look up some serious info.

I hate saying this,but I couldn't find any.

i did find a copy of the report in question though!

On page three there is a map of how the US may divide (Divided States: A Russian Professor's prediction of How the U.S will split). The professor in question is Igor Panarin and he predicts that "Atlantic America" will become a part of the EU.

if something sounds too good to be true, or in this case, too fucking crazy to be true.

Also, quite a bit of the material in this report is something which could easily be verified. In fact, this report is so "earth shaking" that it sounds like a redone Time magazine article.

Unfortunately, no one I consider reliable has touched this with a barge pole. The SPLC post I mention states:
The Missouri Highway Patrol stopped distributing the report last week, as a result of the outcry.

And what do SPLC and the ADL have to do with all of this? The SPLC was cited as among the sources from which the Missouri report drew conclusions. In his advisory, Gheen wrote that “we felt that the false connections, pseudo research and political attacks found in these documents could have been penned by the SPLC and ADL.”

But in fact, SPLC did not “pen” any part of the report. “The SPLC was not involved in any way in the preparation of this report,” said Mark Potok, director of SPLC’s Intelligence Project. “But to people like William Gheen, we make a convenient target simply because we have criticized his group and many others like it over the years.”

Funny, but the people passing this report say the SPLC and ADL ARE involved.

Somebody's lying here.
